Beginning in the Spring of 2012, the creators of Mass Elite Basketball created a highly innovative “new concept”, consisting of a new model of AAU Basketball that will allow for players to participate in local tournaments, recieve highly qualified coaching and paying the lowest fee in all of New England AAU Basketball. Lighting Basketball “brings a bolt of common sense, accountability and affordability to the entire AAU team process”.
Lightning Basketball is a program for boys and is operated out of Middlesex (Lexington/Reading), North Shore (Peabody/Danvers) and the Merrimack Valley (Tewksbury/Andover). Lighting players will compete in 6-7 professionally operated local tournaments, all within 15-40 minutes driving distance from the North Shore/Middleses County. If you are looking for a program that will not require overnight stays, local tournaments and practices and highly professional coaching then Lightning Basketball is the progra that you have been looking for. The program is operated by Coach John Dullea, who each Winter season serves as the Associate Head Basketball Coach at 2011 State Champion St John’s Prep located in Danvers.
